Temporary recruitment:

At Paragon Personnel, we pride ourselves on the quality of staff provided.  To ensure that our temporary staff are able to be immediately effective for you, we use the following measures:

Referencing      As standard all candidates are referenced for a minimum of five years.  If you have additional reference procedures / requirements we are happy to discuss and incorporate these for you.

Skills Testing      When testing candidates, we are particularly careful to ensure that all the skills you require are tested using Prove-it.

Training      Paragon Personnel provide all registered candidates with the opportunity to participate in skills training (online / Prove-it) to learn new packages or improve / refresh existing / rusty skills, helping them to be even more efficient for you.

Legal Advice      All temps are given information about the legal implications of working on-site.  Their direct safety is, however, the client’s responsibility.  They are also all made aware of the working time legislation.

How we work on your booking      On receipt of a short-term booking, our aim is to respond within thirty minutes.  For long-term bookings / contracts, we will remain in close communication with you regarding our progress.  We can be confidently relied upon to supply you with a quality temp. In the rare event we do not have the right calibre of candidate available, we will inform you immediately; we will not send a candidate unless we are fully committed that the temp can meet all of your needs and expectations.

Permanent recruitment:

Paragon Personnel tailor-make our service to fit with each client’s recruitment procedure and can offer the flexibility to incorporate additional client administration (ie; tests, application forms, etc).

The shortlist of recommended candidates Paragon Personnel provide are specifically selected for the culture of the area we are recruiting for, as well as having the skill set and personality fit for the role.

 

How do we manage and source candidates for a new vacancy?

On receipt of a new vacancy, we immediately collate a shortlist of candidates from our database, whom we speak to in detail about the vacancy and confirm their interest.  It is fundamental to Paragon Personnel to provide quality rather than quantity and we place great emphasis on ensuring a careful match to the job specification and soft skills provided from our clients.

If we need to additionally source beyond our candidate base, we will immediately take steps to actively source candidates through a variety of search/ on-line job board advertising (respecting client confidentially).
